Long term planning and technical consulting were provided to assist in the future enhancement of the National Museum of Afghanistan. Products delivered included a Vision and Mission Statements, a Master Plan, Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for project management for design and construction of a new museum building and for a major Museum Partnership to upgrade professional capabilities.

A Conservation Assessment of the National Museum of Afghanistan's buildings and collections in Kabul was carried out with an object conservator. Recommendations for future actions were made.
